Information we collect
ASVAB Forge stores the username and email you provide, optional profile name and nickname, test goals, practice answers, response times, mistakes, reports, paused sessions, and study progress. We do not request a home address, phone number, date of birth, Social Security number, military record, precise location, or payment information.
Account security
Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as salted password hashes and cannot be read by ASVAB Forge. Session and verification tokens are stored in protected form. Sessions expire after extended inactivity, and password resets revoke existing sessions. Email verification and password-recovery messages are delivered through Resend.
How information is used
Your information is used only to operate your account, restore progress, personalize recommendations, calculate unofficial study estimates, prevent abuse, and maintain site reliability. ASVAB Forge does not sell personal information or use student information for targeted advertising.
Recruiter account requests
A recruiter request includes the recruiter's name, military branch, official .mil email, username, and RSID. ASVAB Forge uses this information to create a code from the RSID and first four letters of the recruiter's last name and support a manual owner approval review. Recruiters are instructed not to submit a DoD ID, EDIPI, Social Security number, or other sensitive identifier. No recruiter access is activated until the site owner approves the request.
Optional recruiter connections
You may voluntarily connect your account to an approved recruiter by entering and confirming their unique code or by creating an account from that recruiter's personalized link after reviewing the recruiter invitation. While connected, that recruiter can see your profile display name and username, recent study activity, questions answered, subject-level accuracy, and diagnostic completion. Recruiters cannot see your email, password, exact answers, mistake notebook, private feedback, or account-security information. You can remove a referral before signup or disconnect at any time from Profile & Account, which removes future recruiter access.
Analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregate information such as visits, page views, referral sources, device types, countries, and page performance without collecting personal information for advertising. ASVAB Forge also calculates aggregate account-usage totals for a server-protected owner dashboard. The dashboard does not reveal passwords.
Retention, access, and deletion
Account and study information remains available until you delete your account. From Profile & Account, you can download a copy of your account and study information, including recruiter connection information, or permanently erase your account, answer history, feedback, connections, and saved progress after confirming your password.
Children and school use
Self-service registration is for people age 13 or older. Students under 13 may use ASVAB Forge only through a school- or parent-authorized arrangement that addresses required consent and school control. Schools should contact ASVAB Forge before assigning the service to students under 13.
Cookies and security services
A secure, HTTP-only session cookie keeps you signed in. Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical signals to distinguish people from automated abuse during account creation.

ASVAB Forge is an independent study resource and is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Defense. It does not provide official ASVAB scores or enlistment decisions.
Your choices
You may stop using the service, sign out, request a password reset, manage or disconnect a recruiter, download your information, or delete your account at any time through Profile & Account.
